California

For the last week of August when the preschool closed, I took Z&C out to visit Tita Sara and the cousins in California.  I made the mistake of only taking photos with my iPhone (the crappy 3GS that does not take very good photos!!) but here are the better ones.

Sending a goodbye movie to Daddy
Enjoying the kid shoes on the in-seat entertainment.  I loved all the options including snacks brought to your chair, but I must have spent $50 on the one flight!
Caleb and Kai loved the airplane ride. Caleb wants to be an astronaut.
Sara only likes the small version of foods
It was so good getting all the cousins together.  I so wish we all lived closer together so we could do this every weekend!
 Zoe and Anya
Truly, getting a picture of all five was pretty much impossible...but here's a good shot of them all from behind! Zoe, then Kai, then Maya in the pink skirt and Anya in red and white, with Caleb bringing up the rear.
They actually had to stop the ride so Z&C could get off this one...too scary! A&M&K are total champs at the amusement park and have no fear on all the rides.
 Totally wiped out

A little TV time for kids = downtime for grown ups
Quality time with dad/grandpa over ice cream! the SF creamery is out of this world good...
...and the portion sizes are also planetary.
 Belated birthday celebration for Lola

Todd took this one...Zoe is NOT HAPPY the poor thing!!!!

Build-a-bear was a great time! Kai and Caleb both got camo bears (Storm Bear for Caleb) and Zoe liked her flower bunny that she named Bunnyrific. It's so nice that they had a shared momento of this trip -- good call, tita Sara!

Getting ready for the flight back east.  Kids were awesome little travelers and didn't give their mommy any trouble at all on the flights or with all the time changes/random meals/new places.  I love my little resilient and adaptable angels!!!
SFO has this cool toy where you spun the knob, and a butterfly drifts up a wire.  Very cool.

So excited about the kid-sized headphones!
And ready for our shows!
