Thanks to a rescheduled work commitment for me, S had to take Z&C to their three year well visit on his own. The kids are in top health, with no complaints, though I really should get them to the pediatric dentist. I scheduled an appointment in August last year for January 25, 2010, which ended up being my first day at the new job. When I called to cancel the appointment, the next available was JULY. I should have been a pediatric dentist.
Anyway, Zoe weighed in at 32 lb 8 oz (68%) with a height of 39" (85%).
Caleb is 33 lb (64%) and he refused to be measured, but we think he is exactly the same height as his sister. Zoe now refuses to wear a pull-up at nap time, and often wakes up in the morning with a dry one and asks to go to the potty, so that's 99% potty trained in my book! Last night was the first time Caleb called out at 2 am for mommy and had to go potty, and his pull-up was dry at that point, too. Z's fixation on the color blue is waning, with purple and pink bringing in a close silver and bronze. C likes to wrangle everything apart into small pieces (even if they're not meant to be in small pieces....) and then tries to put them back together again.
Zoe's friend Sofia invited her to "visitor day" at ballet out in Bethesda.
Like our paint job?? The white is the primer I insisted Scott slap up within two days of our move in, as the kitchen walls were sticky and filthy. The gold is the color we're thinking will wrap through the kitchen and down the hall.
Here they are in their little adorable outfits! Don't they have that arrogant dancer look down? Z calls these her "tiippy toe shoes."
"Dancing"
Following in line, as instructed.
EH! mambo!
I don't think there is anyway I can NOT sign Zoe up for ballet!
