- We bought a house in Falls Church! It has a gorgeous 1/3 acre lot with a huge fenced backyard, and the kids are going to just love it. It's a bumped out little Cape Cod and is totally my style. We hope to go to settlement at the end of June, and after some TLC and cosmetic upgrades, we hope to move in late summer.
- I traveled out to HQ in Washington State and met Renata's adorable new baby girl, was totally impressed by the gorgeous renovations to their house, and got to play hide-n-seek with Dante (very proud to be a big brother)!
- It was awesome to see Leah and Nali as well, and hang out for a day in Fairhaven and at her cute little place on a lake. Honestly, the living is just right in the Pacific Northwest ... in the months it's not raining day in and day out.
- Last weekend the temps got up into the 80s, and we discovered a splashground in Arlington. For those of you unitiated into this blissful creation, there are sprays and fountains that come out of the ground right next to a huge park and playground. The kids LOVE the water and have an awesome time splashing cavorting like puppies. Contented parents sit along the sidelines sipping lattes...
- In two weeks, we head out to Wisconsin to visit Gramma and Grampa Al for Scott's 20-year HS reunion. We're looking forward to getting all the cousins together. One of my tasks for this weekend is to pick up a couple of travel/umbrella strollers for the airport ... item #22 on the weekend to-do list...
- Lola is hear for a couple of days, as the family is celebrating a bridal shower for my cousin Neil's soon-to-be-wife Carmella this afternoon. The big wedding is local at the end of July...and then we go to California to see the Powers clan.

And the winds of change...
Given that my attention span works in ridiculously small chunks, here's the list of what all has been going on here lately:
