How do you know what to baby proof? There are locks for toilets and bars for windows, and latches for every kind of drawer and cabinet. There is padding for the table edges and plastic bumpers for almost every surface. You can even get a soft helmet for your learning-to-toddle baby (!) More stuff that targets the paranoid parent inside me...at present, we have outlet covers (and that's about it).
Caleb can officially get around wherever and whenever he wants. He scoots over and under everything, and everything goes in his mouth. He got his first tooth at the end of the month, and promptly bit his tongue with it.
Zoe has perfected sky diving form when on her belly, trying earnestly and unsuccessfully to move. We may have a picky little eater on our hands: green beans only go down if disguised in carrots or sweet potatoes, and bananas and apples result in gagging noises and scrunched up faces.

Hi Pia,
ReplyDeleteI was cleaning out my inbox & found one of your first postings when the babies arrived. I didn't realize how dedicated you were to these postings. Your twins are absolutely beautiful & I hope they are doing well. Hope you guys are happy to be back on the east coast!
Take care,
Erin Clark :)
