Caleb's newfound skill is breaststroke. When he gets really excited to get at something, and doesn't have the patience to do his usual scoot/low crawl/rolling routine, he will lie on his tummy, put his face to the ground and flap his arms and kick his legs in an earnest attempt to crawl. Then he'll realize he's not going anywhere and spin around in one place for a while until he gets distracted by something else.
Zoe likes to yelp. She'll yell to get your attention, or squeak or blow loud bubbles and then gets tickled pink when you yelp or squeak or blow bubbles back. She laughs and giggles mischievously, and loves to splash like mad in the bath, water flying everywhere.
We have tried peas from a jar, which smelled horrible and, no surprise, didn't go down very well. I made my own peas babyfood, and we learned the following lesson:
pea puree = projectile puke.
I think we'll stick to orange veggies for now.
