Caleb and Zoe were in for their 4-month check up and shots on August 22, and are doing really well. Caleb has been fighting croup for a little while, so has a little cough.
Zoe is now 12 lbs 12 oz. (only in the 25%) but 26" long (95%!) so she is long and lean.
Caleb is 15 lbs 12.5 oz. (75%) and 26.25" long (90%): a big boy!
Zoe rolled over for the first time on August 15, and now there is no stopping her from making her way around. Caleb, not to be outdone, rolled over for the first time just a couple of days later (we think the delay was probably because he has more mass to heave over...)
Most of our house is packed up, and the movers arrive early this week. We head out on August 30 for a much needed vacation to Walnut Creek, CA to visit Aunt Sara, Uncle Todd, and cousins Anya and Maya. Grandpa John and Lola have been in town helping out for a week and are having a great time trying to get squeals of glee and cooing out of the babies!
By September 6, we'll be back in DC!
