Somehow, a month has gone by...and we are hanging in there! Now that the babies are term (their due date was May 16) we feel more comfortable taking them out in public. So far, we've gone to a couple of restaurants and met all the neighbors on a few walks.
As you can see, Caleb is driven by his tummy: he is getting so fat!! Look at those cheeks! And Zoe is driven by her temperature: if you have her warm and snuggled, she sleeps so peacefully. Zoe was 7 lbs 6 oz at the last appointment this week, when we took her in to see the doc and were told she may not be able to digest lactose, so we're trying a lactose-free formula for a few days to see how that goes. Poor thing has been up at all hours screaming! Dr. Bruce called it that dreaded word to every new parent's ears (COLIC!) but hopefully this new regimen will do the trick.
