Lots of Personality

"Catching flies..." Scott and Zoe were taking a little nap on the sofa. Sometimes this is the only way we can get the fussy little girl to calm down and sleep. Then when we put her back down on her back, she burps and farts and is all around very lady-like in her demeanor (anything to work the gas out of her!).

Both of them were in full-on, insanity death wail in this photo. Zoe not only cries, she has a scream that renders one incapable of thinking straight. Caleb sounds like an angry little badger when he gets hungry. It's scary when their faces turn a lovely shade of eggplant as you frantically try and figure out what is wrong and how to fix it NOW! Sometimes, the 2 minutes it takes to heat up a bottle of expressed breast milk feels like a life sentence...

Here's daddy with the new Maclaren bouncy chairs. He had just found the "rocking" option on the chairs, and realized that if he stopped rocking them, they would both cry...hmmmm...

Caleb and mommy napping. I was unusually exhausted this day last week, not able to keep my eyes open at all. I thought it was the usual lot of a new mother, only to realize soon enough that it was actually mastitis when the 102.5 F fever kicked in that night. Joy!

We got these chairs because of the shoulder straps, and their ability to sit up higher than most bouncy chairs. That way, hopefully it'll be possible to feed both babies at once with two bottles. Right now, you break out in a cold sweat if you're feeding one bambino and then the other one starts to wail...there's not much you can do if you're by yourself. Welcome to the life of parenting multiples...enjoy the ride!!
