February...we want it to be over...

We braved the bad roads and lousy drivers in desperation to shed the "stir-crazies" and went out to dinner with the neighbors. It was a great success. The kids all played together, munched on each others' grilled cheese and chicken fingers, and the parents got to have adult conversation and a nice dinner. Z&C totally zonked out when we got home, and Zoe didn't even clamor for her entire "family" to be in her crib with her for a change. Usually, there have to be at least 25 stuffed toys in there with her, and her white blanket over her head for her to want to settle down. Caleb, the minimalist, likes one blanket, and one lovey.

One of the neighbor girls came over on Valentine's Day so S and I could go out for a grown-up dinner, which has been a rare occurrence these past three years. We hardly know where to go anymore!

Thank you!
