December

December ended up being a crazy busy month getting ready for Christmas. The kids have turned a corner in maturity, and you can reason with them (for the most part) to head off tantrums, and they play very sweetly together most of the time. Finally, they ask to go to "school" and like their friends and the activities at the day-care.
Like so many other kids before them, Zoe and Caleb wanted nothing to do with "that man in red!!" Caleb's ready to make a run for it!

Even the promise of a present wasn't getting them to walk up to Santa...

I walked back into the family room from the kitchen, and Z&C had opened the bags with the ornaments and were sitting nicely sorting them into piles, and putting them onto the tree.

"Excuse me - you're interrupting my art."

All smiles!

Snow! Zoe was a big fan.

Caleb didn't like it very much. Like mommy isn't thrilled about the cold.

One of the few posed 'together' shots I've been able to get in a while! We didn't even attempt Christmas portraits this year.
