I can't believe it is already October....where did September go??
We moved into the new house, which needs a ton of work so Scott has been spending a lot of time with tools in hand. (thanks hon!) We love the big yard and the neighbors are very sweet, so while the transition to a new day-care has been rough and the commute isn't rosy, we're all glad to have moved. We're having fun fantasizing about the new kitchen we'd put in and the garage we'd build if we win the lotto ... this little Cape Cod has great bones.
Lola and Grandpa have been out a few times to help with the overgrown garden (thank you!) and pinch-hitting with child care. I can't wait until we have it in some semblance of order so we can start having people over. The walls are patched in preparation for painting, and Scott is almost done replacing all the trim in the house.
Front view. The dormer you see on the right is for the nursery, and the one on the left is ours.
