Early August

The lego bucket makes a perfect helmet
Would you like some juice in there?
Zoe has four molars coming in, so we're not as worried about her liking to shove entire handfuls of food into her mouth at once...hopefully she'll be able to chew it all before swallowing.
Caleb got another hair cut, this one summer-time short. His hair is getting lighter as well, and is just about the same color as Daddy's now. We invested (that IS the right word -- it is a racket how expensive good quality wooden toys are) in a super duper six-sided toy that they LOVE.
Hello cutiepie!
Getting ready to pounce in her Washington Nationals ball cap.
All ready for a walk, which are much preferred to be strapped into a hot stroller.
Ready to work
This dinner out at Cafe Deluxe was truly a first. I brought their full dinners on covered plates, so the moment we sat down, they were eating what they were used to. By the time our food arrived they were ready to try some of ours, and we also ordered something small off of the kiddie menu for variety. There was no screaming, no throwing of food, no pleading to get down from the high chair. Perfect!
Zoe now says "Mommy" and likes to ever so delicately pet my hair when I have it down.
