July brought with it typical heat and humidity here in DC, so more opportunities to hit the pool! Zoe and Caleb have successfully transitioned to the big(ger) kid class at daycare so are playing with kids more their own size -- up to age 2. We are proud to say that they are social little kids who wave to almost everyone and engage with other babies at the store, on the street, in the elevator etc.
We are all anxiously awaiting news of the arrival of Baby Boy Powers in California and then will be planning a trip out to see everyone.
On the way to Tita Esthie's for July 4th. Whenever Zoe hears a phone ring, she puts her hand to her ear and says "Hi!"
As long as Caleb has something in his mouth in the car seat, we seem to be okay. It's only a matter of time before we give in and get those strap-on DVD player screens for the back of the front seats. Everyone was very impressed with his grown-up haircut at Tita Esthie's. Caleb, as always, was a little flirt, cruising from Tita Josephine to Tita Esthie to Ate Ria to Tita Pette and then over to Tita Esthie to beg for food from her plate.
