15 months

Zoe and Caleb went in for their 15-month well baby visit, and we learned that Caleb is 25 lbs and Zoe is 21.5 lbs. They are the exact same height which of course I didn't write down, but let's just say that everyone who meets them for the first time assumes they are 2 years old, rather than only 15.5 months.

Climbing has become a new way to elevate mommy and daddy's blood pressure -- be it the toy trunk, the kitchen chairs, or the toilet, Z&C are getting into and onto everything. Zoe adores her stuffed teddy bear and sheep and monkey and duckie, and Caleb likes the toys that make music so he can dance and bob along with the tune.
Caleb loves to snuggle with grandpa. Lola and Grandpa came out to visit for a couple of days between trips to California (still waiting on that baby boy to arrive...) and even took one night doing dinner+bath+bedtime so we could go out and celebrate my birthday. I'm officially at the stage where every birthday is going to be #29 now, I think. Scott gave me a fab new digital camera, and now I just have to figure out how to get the pics onto the computer.
Lola brought little-kid sized legos which are a huge hit. Zoe particularly likes to dump the bucket of them onto her head and then one by one, put them back in.
Zoe giving her big smile. We found a new church that is wonderfully kid-friendly (and has a school!) so we are all dressed up in this pic to go to mass. They find the music and organ mesmerizing, but like to hoot and holler during the readings and other quiet times so we often end up in the rear atrium where they can eat the bulletin and try and tip over the poor box.
I couldn't resist the Washington Nationals ball cap. We went to Whole Foods on the metro today, and Caleb wore the hat the whole way there and back! Considering how far and hard he consistently throws his lima beans off his plate, maybe he'll be a good ball player?
