Happy Father's Day

This is a photo of three generations of Waneks...that's grandpa Al on the phone talking with Caleb. Happy Father's Day! [We think Caleb is up for another hair cut. His mop is getting unruly again.]
When I turned one, my dad's Aunt Cathy (his mom's only sister) gave me one of these classic "Madame Alexander" dolls. I didn't even know that was the name for them until Lola bought one for Zoe for my shower -- mine was named "Donna" and was the most well loved doll that went everywhere with me including boarding school was I was 15. Notice the plush body on this one...mine has a different body as my dear mother had to perform major surgery when I was 4 or 5 after much loved Donna pretty much disintegrated. I used to tie her to the front of my red tricycle, among other things. Poor Bridget dolly lost her body (or her head?) to save Donna.

Zoe seems very enamored with her Donna doll. In this pic she is checking out the open-and-close eyes.
