New and exciting this month is more finger food! Gerber puffs are a big hit. While picking them up with thumb and forefinger is still a challenge, both babies are good at grabbing one with the palm of their hand, and eventually get it into their mouths if their whole hand goes with it...
Zoe knows that when someone puts on a coat, it means that a departure is imminent and she cries her little eyes out, poor thing. She likes to be held ALL the time now, or if she is on the floor playing, she wants you to be right there next to her where she can reach out and touch you. She is most content in a big family hug or sitting in her "daddy chair" playing with a toy.
Caleb can get into everything in the blink of an eye. He is constantly poking at the outlets and pushing earnestly against the kitchen chairs. He likes to grab the wooden toys and bang them repeatedly on the glass balcony door, and pull the pots and pans out of the kitchen cupboard. But just when you think he should be wearing a sign saying "the Destroyer," he'll lean his head over against his sister's and coo. Very sweet!
Sippy cups are fun! Even more exciting with puffs!
